About me#

Hi, I am Adriaan, a Delft trained Quantum Engineer and Co-Founder of Orange Quantum Systems, an OEM that provides test equipment for quantum computing chips.

During my PhD (Cum laude), I have worked on control for superconducting quantum systems [1] in the group of Prof. Leo DiCarlo at QuTech. Besides my scientific work, I made key contributions to the development of the Quantum Infinity, a full-stack quantum computer in the cloud. Before starting my PhD, I was on the executive board of De Kleine Consultant, a student-run non-profit business consultancy where I was responsible for internal affairs.

In my free time, I enjoy sailing, windsurfing, tinkering with software projects, and writing with some over-priced coffee.

Kunstenaars Rol#

I maintain the website of the Stichting Kunstenaars Rol. The website is a tribute to three generations of artists: my uncle Hanno, my grandfather Henricus and my great-grandfather Cornelis.
